Life is a beach at Uke Camp…
Uke Camp is structured around having fun learning all kinds of new songs to play and sing as well as provide a sound, fundamental musical education. This takes the form of music/chordal theory and learning to read music on the ukulele! We will also have fun developing the Camper’s repertoire of songs curated by them and their teacher. During the week they will have an individual lesson with a teacher, and on Friday we will hold a group lesson with some of the other campers around their age! We will play the different songs that we learned that week while the musical notation is pulled up on the screen so the other kids may turn off their microphone and play along in real time with other kids! Perhaps most importantly on Friday, we will enjoy the fruits of our labor after a fun week of uke! We would love to have you join! All are welcome!
